Settings → Backup & restore → Create backup. Save the file to iCloud Drive, Google Drive or send it to yourself by e-mail. On the new phone install Yolkbook, open Settings → Backup & restore → Restore from file and pick the file. It works between iPhone and Android too.

Yes, backup files include photos. Your phone's own Google cloud backup on Android does not include photos, so keep a backup file if your photos matter to you.

Yes. Before every restore the app saves an automatic safety copy. Right after restoring tap “Undo restore”, or find the copy in Backup & restore → Automatic copies.

Nothing has been deleted. On that screen share the data file, the copy from before the update and the error log, and send them to us — we will help you get everything back.
